This was an ad lib shot. She picked up the heart and it just seemed to work. Turns out to be one of mine and her favorites. It’s also her Christmas present, I found a lovely frame for it. Don’t know if she’ll keep it or if Mom will claim it. We’ll know by the time this publishes.

After many many years of estrangement, my prodigal came home for Thanksgiving this year, with his new wife and children. Many many prayers were answered this day.

This is my tribute to my Sister D. I am blessed by knowing her. This one is for you!

Couldn’t resist this shot!  Weeping angel! Undoubtedly the scariest monsters ever!

These rocks were just sitting on the log. I was fascinated by them and really curious about their story. I never figured out their story, but felt like they should be memorialized.

I think she looks very elegant here. She’s actually about to do something very tomboyish, but you’d never know from this shot. I really love it.

Some of my favorite pictures from the Cannonsburgh shoot are the ones they didn’t know I was taking. That was an accomplishment in itself, they seemed to always be aware of the camera. This is one of my favorites, I love the light.

Not the greatest photo ever, but what a lovely nap.  He was so comfortable, he had arranged all the covers just so and got on the pillow all by himself.  He takes the best naps ever!
